Title Examiner (Real Estate)

Our client is looking for a thorough Title Examiner to join their team! You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing and determining eligibility for our Homeowner’s Benefit Program.

Title Examiner : Responsibilities:

  • Conduct searches of potential client’s information and their residential properties via
  • records searches, database searches and service provider’s online programs.
  • Collect appropriate information required to assess potential client’s and their residential property’s eligibility to the company’s program.
  • Review real estate documents and paperwork relating to the ownership of a property: deeds, mortgage documents, final probate documents, power of attorney, divorce decree, trust documents, etc.
  • Make a decision to accept, reject, or disqualify a potential client after review of all the required documents/information ensuring compliance with company’s policy and guidelines.
  • Documenting and effectively communicating reasons for the approval, rejection or disqualification of the potential client and/or residential property.
  • Prepare the state specific agreements and list of required documents for signing.
  • Schedule document signing appointments via mobile notary service or online notary service.
  • Handle queries from agents, brokers, management and service providers.
  • Complete projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED required (College degree preferred)
  • Experience with real estate transactions and evaluations (Essential)
  • Analytical thinker with research proficiencies.
  • Ability to use reasonable and sound judgment.
  • Solid organizational skills and detail oriented.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to use necessary software
