Looking for an Assistant Vice President who will be responsible for the day to day operations of a Market Rate Housing portfolio. (3,100+ Apartment Homes)

Essential Job Functions

Strong financial acumen; must understand the components driving P&L.
Execute on strategic plans increasing NOI.
Extensive experience in managing, coaching and inspiring direct reports
Demonstrated success in leadership, staff development and team building
High level presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
Experience creating and managing budgets and reporting to investors
Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks to ensure corporate goals and time frames are met.
Proven improvement of process and operating results.
Exceptional customer-service skills; demonstrated ability to maintain strong working relations with both internal and external clients.

Developing and Monitoring individual site business plans including investment objectives, compliance goals, marketing positioning, people, asset quality, and financial goals and objectives.

Able to describe the overall makeup: strengths, weaknesses and needs of each property in their given portfolio.
Oversee and Monitor region by region property risk management, safety standards and employee and resident liability.
Oversee and Monitor any corrective action plans for deficiencies found at properties.

10+ years of on-site property management experience

Experience in supervisory role and managing staff
Experience in writing and maintaining budgets
Proficient in property management software.
General office, bookkeeping and sales skills
Computer literate, including Microsoft Office Suite
